Why would the RNC choose to add “once” to MAGA?

Perhaps it’s meant to signal that America was great again during Trump’s first term.

Perhaps it suggests that, should he be re-elected, America will be made great again only once more, for one more term, that’s it

Perhaps it’s a reminder that America has been great several times before.

Perhaps focus groups indicated a need for a “refresh” without losing the essence of MAGA.

Perhaps it will lead to a new line of paraphernalia for sale.

Perhaps it’s meant to resonate more with Portuguese Americans, for whom “magoa” means hurt, heartache.

Or perhaps someone in Milwaukee simply decided to just do it, just this once.
